The English version of this website has been designed to provide individuals, who do not read Italian, with information on the strategic objectives, innovative activities and results, and key actors involved in the EQUAL Programme in Italy.

Co-funded through the European Social Fund, EQUAL is a European Community Initiative (2000-2006) with the objective of combating discrimination and inequality on the labour market, through transnational co-operation.

The Ministry of Labour - in co-operation with the Regional Authorities and Autonomous Provinces - is responsible for the execution of this Community Initiative in Italy.

The purpose of www.equalitalia.it is to provide information, advice and support for the EQUAL Development Partnerships and to inform practitioners and the public at large.
